BARLEY & BURGER: On this gorgeous 79 degree day I treated myself to lunch at BARLEY & BURGER in need of a Burger Salad Bowl. I order it with chicken and on a plate. I love B&B. I met a woman, Sandra Braswell, Mortgage Loan Officer at Coastal Credit Union, who comes to Rockey Mount once a month from the Durham office and ALWAYS eats at B&B. She comes for a great hamburger of her choosing. A lovely woman who grew up in Rocky Mount and suggested I go and meet Shane Lancaster, Branch MGR. here, a native RM man. I hope he will have time to chat. I mean is this a Stepheny kind of day or what? Tonight the Ash Wednesday service at 7:00PM at St. Andrews and my windows and doors are open to let in the fresh air. I loved last night at the train station in a revival mood for Rocky Mount, I love B&B for its welcoming atmosphere and food, I love positive people like Sandra and I love this Camellia bush in my garden.
