Below is a short video clip with Marlon Brando who plays the inarticulate protagonist, Terry Malloy, in the movie, On The Waterfront. He tells us he could have been a contender. Vice President Harris could have been a contender too. She is in charge of the border that the Biden administration has been telling us is neither a crisis or a USA invasion and is definitely secure.
Harris could have been a somebody as well. When the history books are written about this disaster, she will remain a no-show.
The Vice President will have no part in any author’s series on great woman written for teenagers or otherwise. The New York Post wrote, Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Kamala Harris, who plunged in the polls amid internal strife in her campaign, dropped out of the 2020 presidential election. Because she is black and a woman, Biden chooses her for his Vice President, plucking her from the ‘no never mind’ list. She had the opportunity to involve herself in one of the most devastating mistakes in our history. She should be living on the border if necessary. Had she even insisted the laws on the books be followed she would have guaranteed admiration and remembrance in the American story. She will remain a ‘no never mind.’
If only Condoleezza Rice, an American diplomat and political scientist who is the current director of the Hoover Institution at Stanford University, would come and solve the border crisis. A member of the Republican Party, she previously served as the 66th United States secretary of state from 2005 to 2009 and as the 19th U.S. national security advisor from 2001 to 2005. Rice was the first female African-American secretary of state and the first woman to serve as national security advisor. The country will always need a black woman to lead us on. Let’s not ever do this ‘check off boxes’ again when there are rocket stars LIKE Rice; black, women that are the real deal.
Harris has proven to be inarticulate, without courage or qualification to continue in 2024 in any capacity. The reality of an open border and its consequences will be written about in a definitive way one day. I would love to live long enough to read it.
This summer at the Democratic convention Harris and Biden will be replaced. I’ve written this blog in anticipation of that happening. She may be a Democrat and you may be one as well, but I hope in this case you agree she best be DONE!
