Main Street Gastro Pub Salad: The Power of Social Media

On my Facebook page this morning, Main Street Gastro Pub posted this photo and blurb. Treat yourself to a refreshing mix of kale, greens, and crisp apple slices, perfectly complemented by our zesty honey Dijon dressing. Sprinkled with crunchy roasted pecans, it’s a delightful balance of flavors and freshness. Customize your salad with your choice of protein – whether it’s succulent grilled chicken or shrimp, or crispy fried options. Give it a try today!

I love salads but when out to eat, I’m not interested in a bag of lettuce and carrot bits. The Gastro Pub salad got me dressed and out the door. (They close from 2:00 -5:00) Such sweet people to give you a hug, which I always need. Take a minute and read the earlier blog when they reopened and meet the ‘chefs’ and Amber who is the ‘sweet girl.’ See Main Street Blog: https://mainstreetrockymount.com/2024/01/31/main-street-gastro-pub-reopens/

This is my salad with great sweet tea. The apples were a perfect crunch, the pecans delicious, the greens crisp and dressing right. I sat at the bar, which I love to do, it makes me feel grown up. I don’t drink so I admire great looking bars as I pass them and am seated at a table. Not today.

The work on the railroad crossings will require some maneuvering to get to Gastro Pub but it is worth it. If you are not using social media to market your business, what ever it is, you are missing an opportunity. The Small Business Departments of our Community Colleges offer free classes on the various platforms. I have taken a zillion classes and highly recommend you check the schedule offered at the moment. This is a Stepheny kind of day. I’m off to play with two great grandchildren. Between a delicious salad and playing with the dollhouse, this is a Stepheny Day. I hope you get yourself to the Gastropub and find time to play too.
