There is a silence in the air with the snow decorating the garden and the street with no tire tracks interrupting the beauty of it all. It’s Sunday and people will stay home, happy for the forced caution to stay off the roads.
I got up early to look out the windows to see the results of ‘the storm.’ The houses are dark, a street light shining on the snow below let’s me see this particular moment. I think of all the children who will delight in a snow day.
