Congratulations to Brandon and Travis, and everyone who contributed to this fantastic achievement! The same wonderful owners, the same great food, and the same attentive staff have now found a new home with ample parking and seating. The interior design, which Iโd describe as delightfully ‘fun’. The bar area is so inviting you might just want to settle in permanentlyโI know I did, sipping my first sweet tea there. In a quiet moment, I found myself tearing up, reflecting on the talent, vision, and courage it took for these young risk-takers to repurpose this space into a beautiful new restaurant concept that welcomes both locals and travelers. Step inside, and youโll immediately see the hard work and dedication behind this remarkable transformation.

It was a lucky day when these entrepreneurs planted their flag in Rocky Mount. Since then, theyโve not only cultivated a loyal customer base but also built countless friendships, blessing everyone fortunate enough to know them. They have brought light to my life.

When the barn-like doors are closed, the space is ideal for private parties and organization events. Otherwise, it serves as additional seating for the public. The floors, made from a composite material, have a sleek, glass-like appearance thatโs undeniably “cool.”
The photos below show off the new space and the lucky invitees that had a preview and gave the staff an opportunity to have a dry run. Doors officially open December 5-today. You’re going to be pleased and proud when you see what Barley and Burger has grown up to be.

If you feed them, they will come. Brandon and Travis built all the bench seat backs. Think nothing of it…when you are as talented as they are, what would you expect.
