Tonight’s Debate: What I regret the most about tonight’s debate is that I won’t be around to read what will be written about it in the future. If only David Halberstam were still alive to write one of his fascinating books about this period in our American history. Who would he choose to breathe life back into? Of course, Trump and Bidden, but Halberstam would bring forward those behind tonight’s event. The prominent journalists, TV media and their part in shaping tonight. It would include the Democrat dilemma and how it got solved. Campaign influencers, and world reaction by several key players. Years from now there will be another reader awakened to the curiosity and fascination with those who have shaped their world. Like me they will have read books about our American presidents and been captured as I am with the ‘players.’ A book about the background of this time period with the open borders, a justice system that is under scrutiny. I wouldn’t have missed tonight for the world because I am here, it is now, my world, my life caught up in the reality of my grocery bill for one person!!! and gas and…..the future reader will have the advantage of knowing how it all turned out after tonight’s debate.
