The bookshop announced an exhibit of postage stamps featuring books and authors. A post card went out to the mailing list and Stepheny’s social media platforms announced the event. The shotgun book shop provided the space in the long hallway to hang the exhibit. One day of the week- long event was about the power of reading to children. Grandmothers, mothers, friends were asked to bring children and browse while Stepheny sat on the floor reading to the children. A few of the famous short Beatrice Potter books would be read.
