The Bungalows of Rocky Mount, NC are scattered throughout the neighborhoods. Some are neglected and boarded up. Thankfully, many are now being saved by people who recognize their great value to Rocky Mount’s housing availability.
For fun, I decided we needed a Bungalow Society with a goal of bringing awareness to these gems.
No cost, but bringing together people who grew up in a bungalow, live in one now, are restoring one, or recognize their charm and value to a neighborhood.
Hoping for a list to contact, then come together around a program about the value of Bungalows, and raise awareness of the state of things with Rocky Mount’s inventory.
