Free Membership: Bungalow Society of Rocky Mount, NC

The Bungalows of Rocky Mount, NC are scattered throughout the neighborhoods. Some are neglected and boarded up. Thankfully, many are now being saved by people who recognize their great value to Rocky Mount’s housing availability.

For fun, I decided we needed a Bungalow Society with a goal of bringing awareness to these gems.

No cost, but bringing together people who grew up in a bungalow, live in one now, are restoring one, or recognize their charm and value to a neighborhood.

Hoping for a list to contact, then come together around a program about the value of Bungalows, and raise awareness of the state of things with Rocky Mount’s inventory. In the comment section below, please leave a way to contact you, which will not happen until a group is formed. Add your voice to the preservation of these wonderful old houses. Thank you! SFH

  1. Have always been curious and would love to learn more about bungalows in RM, their availability, and how realistic it would be to attempt refurbish while living in one.
