Twin County Hall of Fame Induction Banquet

It was an inspirational evening at the banquet the other night. It’s an excuse to dress up and everyone looked like they’d stepped out of a fashion magazine, both men and women. The Event Center banquet tables were each decorated with tributes to the inductees. Between the wonderful setting and the family and friends who attend the banquet, it was a celebration of the good people who have been the wind under the sails of Edgecombe and Nash Counties. The lives of this years 2021 Class of Inductees was one of service, leadership in their respective fields of endeavor, led spiritual lives of faith, and are lasting influences in making Rocky Mount a better place to live.

Gary Hodges, photographer for the event took wonderful photographs as usual. I only have a few of the Board members, that I admire and respect to the moon and back. An event like this is a major undertaking and without outstanding leadership the event would be a ‘tried to and couldn’t affair.’

The portraits were once again created by SUSAN FECHO, Featured Artist. Her portraits through the years have been lasting tributes to the Hall of Fame Inductees. We thank Susan for her years of creativity and loyalty to the concept of The Hall of Fame by providing the priceless portraits of people who are known by their love. The sponsors with their generous support are the heroes of the community who say ‘yes’ to Rocky Mount everyday by their generosity to endless causes. The Event Center is an important piece in the revitalization puzzle. The staff at the banquet helped make the banquet a lovely evening. Thank you one and all.
